Summer is here and soon we will be celebrating the 4th of July. I can’t think of a better way to show your patriotic spirit than to dress up your front porch in red, white and blue. Create a colorful and patriotic welcome for neighbors and friends with fresh flowers, flags and these DIY patriotic planters.
Start by creating the stripes on one of your Galvanized Tall Pots by using the Patriotic Washi Tape.
Begin paining the red, white and blue stripes with acrylic paint on your pot. Let the paint dry.
While the paint is drying on the pot, create the “stars” pots using the Patriotic Star Cutouts and small star stickers. I used my cutting machine to cut out the smaller stars on red, white and blue vinyl, however you can use small star stickers as well. I used hot glue to attach the Patriotic Star Cutouts.
Once you have decorated the pots plant your red and white flowers in them.
Add a few of the small cloth American flags to complete your patriotic planters.
