Do you know a Peanuts® fan? Looking for a fun DIY gift idea? I’m excited to share a quick tutorial perfect for all the Charlie Brown fans of the world! DIY Peanuts-Inspired Christmas Ornaments aren’t just great party favors for A Charlie Brown Christmas Party, but they look amazing on your Christmas Tree year after year. For Lucy, I decided to create ornaments inspired by her dress. Start by adding a dollop of paint inside both halves of the DIY Large Clear Christmas Ornaments. Close shut. You may want to add a small piece of clear tape along the outside seal before moving on to the next step. You can remove the tape once the paint has dried overnight.
Shake the ornament vigorously until the paint coats inside the entire ornament. Alternatively, you can hand paint the insides of the ornament with a paint brush.
Using the Sharpie, simply draw a ruffle collar and two wave lines for Lucy’s dress.
Now for the tag! Using the circle punch, cut out a card stock circle. Add a Peanuts® Christmas Sticker in the center of the circle.
Punch a small hole at the top of the circle and cut a small slit to create a tag.
Thread a piece of Baker’s Twine through the ornament and attach the tag.
Aren’t they adorable? They made the perfect centerpiece for the party table as well as fun party favors!
