When seating the bride and groom and on their big day, it is their first time seated together as a married couple. Nothing is as fun and fabulous for them as seeing their names together, marking the date of their big day, at a gorgeous burgundy and blush table setting. With a simple update, you will have an incredibly elegant touch, perfect for your fall dream wedding. This stylish and personalized craft is one that you can either save for just the bridal party or one that each member of the reception can enjoy on this momentous occasion!
Use a ruler to measure the dimensions of the space on the plate that the personalization will fit into. Tip: The White Plastic Dinner Plate with Gold Edging has a rim that is approx. ½ an inch wide, this is the perfect place to add the bride and grooms name and the date of the wedding.
I used my Cricut Explore Air 2 to design and cut out the bridal couple's name and wedding date. I cut these in a copper vinyl. If you don't have a cutting machine there are several other options to achieve a personalized look. You can use the Mini Alphabet Stencil Set, stickers, a Monogram Stencil or a Monogrammed Clear Favor Sticker.
On the clean and dry plate place the vinyl into position on the rim of the plate and adhere.
If you are using a stencil attach this to the plate and use a copper paint or metallic marker to create the names. Remove the stencil and let it dry. Alternatively, if you are using stickers or a clear monogram sticker, remove the backing and adhere it to the top of each plate.
Place the personalized plate onto the paper copper charger and add the menu on top of the personalized dinner plate. This unique geometric menu design was created by Elena of World Wide Party to tie in with the Rose Gold Candle Holder Set I used to decorate the altar.
To complete the personalized table setting layer the remaining items. Tie a knot in a burgundy napkin, placing it to the side of the setting so it doesn't cover the personalization. Add a set of Premium Metallic Copper Cutlery, place a Small Unfinished Wood Slice under a Clear Stemless Plastic Wineglass to ground it on top of a fur runner. Finally, add a Clear Patterned Champagne Flute and blush wine glass to complete the look.
