Halloween is just around the corner and my teenage boys couldn’t be more excited! Ever since they both studied Greek mythology in high school they have had a fascination with all the stories and characters. So naturally, they requested a Greek Mythology Party for their Halloween/Birthday party this year. Apparently, everyone knows you can’t have a Greek Mythology Party without Poseidon’s trident!
Simply spray paint the pitchfork in metallic gold along with several sea shells and a snake or two. Spray paint all sides of each item and let dry.
Once dry, arrange and adhere the sea shells and snake to the pitchfork. You can layer them for more dimension, it’s up to you!
I chose to stack a few shells in the center of the trident and glued a snake slithering up the handle.
Doesn’t it look awesome in Medusa’s Lair? It would also be a great prop for a Halloween costume. I hope you are inspired to make a fun party or costume prop this season!
