When guests arrive for a ballerina party, its important they look the part! Our DIY Prima Ballerina Tutu Party Favor is a simple and adorable way to let your guests dress up like little ballerinas! You can easily create your own ballerina tutus at home with a few simple supplies. The best part is, these adorable tutus can be enjoyed long after the party is over!
Begin by cutting a length of Light Pink Satin Ribbon roughly 3 feet long. This will be what holds the tulle material in place and will tie around your little ballerina’s waist.
Cut roughly 100 strips of tulle in 18inch long sections from the Pink Tulle Roll.
Create a loop at the top of your tulle piece by folding it in half and looping it around the pink satin ribbon. Repeat this step until you have enough tutu to wrap around your dancer’s waist. Be sure to keep the tulle loops close together to create a fuller tutu.
Tie your together tutu with the remaining length of ribbon that is not covered in any of the tulle strips, making a sweet bow right in the front of the tutu. As each girl grows, simply adjust the bow size for extended wear!
