If you're planning an art-themed playdate you'll need a creative centerpiece to match! Make this DIY Rainbow Art Party Centerpiece in just a few steps.
Start creating your centerpiece by painting your DIY Unfinished Wood Planter Box with White Acrylic Paint and a paintbrush. Allow the paint to fully dry before moving on to the next step.
Once the paint is fully dry, choose your favorite crayons from the 120-Color Crayola® Crayon pack and adhere them in rainbow order using hot glue. We used a total of 31 different crayons. Be sure to leave a little space on each end of the box for step 3.
Add a few Awesome Self Adhesive Buttons to each end of the Planter Box in descending rainbow order for a unique and creative touch.
Fill your centerpiece with rainbow-colored Gumballs to use for crafting and add a fun mix of color! Then, cut a sun in half from the You Are My Sunshine Tissue Balls and Clouds set and add a yellow button to each sun ray. Adhere the sun to the back of the centerpiece with a few dabs of hot glue.
Next, fill 2 Paint Bucket Favor Containers with rainbow Gumballs and add a few White Pom Poms to be used for crafting. Flank the Planter Box with the containers. We love how the white pom poms look like fluffy clouds!
Cut out your own mess-free paint splotches from the Bright Foam Sheets and place them in the middle of the table for a fun, art-inspired touch!
Place your centerpiece in the center of the table at your Rainbow Crafting Playdate and enjoy! This centerpiece is so adorable and was the perfect addition to our playroom after our playdate! We love when party decor can be repurposed afterwards!
