For the Rainbow Party, I wanted a craft/party favor that would hold some of the other treats I had planned as party favors and decided to make DIY Rainbow Coin Purses. The craft is just challenging enough that it takes some time, allowing guests time to chat and get to know one another. It's also just creative enough that even a beginner crafter or child can complete.
Take your pencil and draw rainbow arches on the coin purse.
Starting with red, paint the first rainbow arch. Go nice and slow so you don’t paint in the neighboring arch! You may need to touch up with a second coat. Finish painting the other arches. I used orange, yellow, blue and green.
Let dry and allow your guests to fill their coin purses with rainbow-themed goodies and prizes from the party.
