Decorating for Christmas does not mean giving up your rustic décor theme. With this DIY ribbon string art you can have the best of both worlds. The red ribbon brings out the Christmas spirit, while the stained wood plank and alphabet tiles give it the perfect rustic touch! Check out the entire Christmas gallery wall!
Draw a large star onto the DIY Stained Wood Plank 12” Sign using White Chalk.
Hammer small nails halfway into each of the points of the star. Once the nails are in, gently wipe of the chalk lines with a damp towel.
Starting at the top nail, wrap 1.5” Red Single Faced Satin Ribbon around the nails in the same way you drew the star. Make sure to leave a good 12-15” of extra ribbon when you start to allow for enough ribbon to tie in a bow.
Tie a pretty ribbon bow at the very top nail and secure the bow in place with a dot of hot glue.
Sort through the Alphabet Tiles and find a short holiday word or quote. Hot glue the tiles to the middle of the ribbon star.
