One of my favorite aspects of any dinner party is the centerpiece! I love a centerpiece especially when it includes lots of layers, patterns, texture and greenery. I decided to DIY the centerpiece for my Rustic Christmas Party to help give the table a pop and include all those specific aspects I love.
Tape off your Wood Centerpiece – Medium with Painters Tape or Washi Tape. I taped mine in stripes!
Paint a circle around the edges of the Wood Centerpiece – Medium.
Fill in the rest of the Wood Centerpiece – Medium with paint. Coat according to your liking and let dry completely.
Remove the Painters Tape or Washi Tape. Repeat on a second Wood Centerpiece – Medium.
Set the two painted wood centerpieces side by side and place the Chalkboard Christmas Tree Centerpiece on top of them.
Intersperse poinsettia flowers, pine sprigs and maroon ornaments between the Chalkboard Christmas Tree branches.
This display definitely adds some depth to the entire tablescape and ensures that the table has a distinctly festive feel.
