Lately, I’ve been all about metallic finishes. Anything splashed with metallic is that much prettier. When you add metallic with rustic wood and natural jute, it’s a stunning combination. Hang this garland on your fireplace or add it to your favorite table for a party.
Separate wood rounds into equal piles. I used two packages of Small Unfinished Wood Slices.
Paint wood rounds with gold metallic paint. Allow paint to dry. Repeat the process with your other metallic paint colors.
Heat your hot glue gun up and lay out your painted wood rounds. Try to match up similar shapes. Don’t worry about the colors. Place a small amount of hot glue on the back of your wood round and then put the piece of natural jute into the hot glue.
Add your second wood round on the other side of the jute, sandwiching the jute in between the two wood rounds.
Space your wood rounds out every inch or so. Make sure you continue to match similar wood shapes. Also, try to alternate colors as you go along creating a random pattern.
Hang your Metallic Rustic Wood Garland across your mantel or on the front of your favorite tablescape. This wood garland is simply beautiful and works in so many different settings!
