Santa is sure to fill these stockings to the brim! For a fun alternative to a traditional stocking that kids will be sure to love, try making these DIY Santa Stockings this Christmas. They are a simple no-sew craft project using a red stocking,felt and yarn pom-poms. Just download our free template and trace onto felt to make Santa's beard and hat. Download our free template and print it out. Cut out the shapes for the beard and trace onto a sheet of white felt. Cut out the shape for the hat and trace onto a sheet of red felt. Cut out the felt pieces.
To create the beard, layer the felt pieces on top of each other and adhere together with a bead of hot glue. Trim the edges of the beard if needed.
Glue the beard to a red stocking just below the cuff. Make sure your stocking is facing to the right before you glue on the details.
Glue on a red yarn pom-pom nose.
Glue the red felt hat to the stocking cuff with a bead of hot glue around the border of the cuff.
Glue a row of small white yarn pom-poms along the base of the hat, and add a large white pom-pom to the top.
