When spooky season rolls around that means it's time to take my favorite Halloween accessories out of the closet....my skeletons! With so many different shapes and sizes of skeletons available now, it's easy to find one to match a specific Halloween party theme. If you are hosting a themed Halloween dinner party, then you must have a life size posable skeleton make an appearance as the bartender! Check out how you can take a plain bar cart and easily decorate it to match any Halloween Party this season.
Start with a plain bar cart.
Position a life size posable skeleton behind the cart and place each of its hands on the sides of the bar cart. If you need to, use clear cording or fishing line to secure the skeleton's hands to the cart.
Put a skull pitcher in the middle of the bar cart and place some black plastic patterned wine glasses around it so guests can help themselves.
Place boo beverage napkins on either side of the pitcher and top them with a few skull decorations.
Now it's time to decorate the bottom of the bar cart. Scatter a bag of bones on the bottom level to fill up some space.
Hang a Dead & Breakfast Inn sign on a floor-standing shepherd's hook. If you don't have a shepherd's hook you can place the sign on the wall with a removable hook.
Attach a 3' posable skeleton to the railing of the shepherd's hook with clear cording. If you aren't using a shepherd's hook, attach the skeleton to the legs of the bar cart instead. For fun, place a plastic wine glass in his hand!
