I recently created a Greek Mythology Halloween Party for my teenage boys and these DIY Snake Jar Centerpieces were perfect for Medusa’s Lair! Not only were they the perfect amount of creepiness, they were functional too. I filled them with coordinating candy and displayed them with a Snake Wreath and lots of snakes.
Apply a layer of glue on the underside of the snake and quickly place it on the glass jar. You can glue just the middle section so that the heads and tails dangle off the jars, too.
I’ve used hot glue many times to temporarily adhere items to my glass jars. It works great and is easily removable! Just gently peel off the glue by hand (be sure to use a low temperature hot glue and hot glue gun).
Fill the jars with your favorite candies. You can even place them on gold chargers with some greenery for a more elegant look.
Place the Snake Wreath over the center jar and your table is ready for the party!
