I’m excited to share my DIY Monogrammed Christmas Stocking Ornaments tutorial with you. This easy holiday craft project is fun to make and is versatile too! You can fill them with candy and use them as party favors, use them as party decorations or make one for each of your family members and hang them from your Christmas Tree. You can even adjust the colors of the embellishments I used to match your own tree’s decor. Want to make these? Let’s get started.

Now it’s time to decorate them! I did two different designs. Here’s how to make the first one. Attach a row of green Tiny Pom-Poms across the top edge of one of the mini stockings with hot glue.

Here’s the other design. Hot glue one side of a red Cotton Rickrack Trim to the back center of one of the stockings then wrap it around the stocking until it meets the end of the trim and cut it. Secure the trimmed end with hot glue. Repeat this step with the green rickrack trim to make another row.

Thread the Red Baker’s Twine through the hole of one of the Christmas Cross Stitch Charms and tie it on to the top loop of the mini stocking. Trim the excess twine.

You’re done! Repeat the steps to make as many monogrammed stockings as you want. You can use these in many ways. You could even have your child make these, place a gift card and candy inside and give them as Christmas teacher gifts. Make one for each of your family members and fill with stocking stuffers or make a complete holiday garland from the stockings and spell out a holiday phrase!
