When I think of elegance I think of one of the most elegant animals; the swan. I am excited to share this DIY project that maximizes glamour with minimum DIY skills required! It's the best of both worlds! Who can resist a feather-adorned umbrella to add glamour to a party space?
Open your DIY White Umbrella and glue White Ostrich Feathers over the edge, bending here and there as you go. Use hot glue to secure the feathers to the umbrella. Continue around the entire edge of the umbrella.
Add a White Feather Boa to the top edge of the umbrella and affix it with hot glue.
Draw a 20" tall swan onto Elmer's White Foam Board. Color the beak with a Permanent Gold Chalk Marker. Cut the swan out with a box cutter or Xacto® knife.
Glue the swan onto the wire stretchers on the inside of the umbrella.
Hang from a chair or the ceiling.
