Every fairy has a sweet fairy home full of woodland details, beautiful flowers and of course, just a hint of pixie dust! We wanted to create a gorgeous fairy home for Tinkerbell at our Tinkerbell Birthday Party, and it had to be the perfect blend of forest and fun! Add a little hint of "pixie dust" to the base of a wood round centerpiece by using a paintbrush to add some gold glittering details from gold glitter glue. Gently coat the sides and the top of the wood slice and allow the glue to dry, leaving behind only glitter.
Add a subtle hint of "pixie dust" to the white bird cage as well. This reflects the light beautifully and really looks magical! Once the gold glitter glue is dry, place the bird cage on top of the wood round centerpiece.
Next, use a wooden disc as a template and cut the perfect sized circle out of boxwood.
Pop the bloom off of a pink peony stem then add a touch of elegance to the pink peony by highlighting it in gold. Use a light hand and add a bit of gold paint.
Now that the pink peony is dry. Place it on top of the boxwood layer.
Trim a Tinkerbell silhouette from gold contact paper. You can easily do this by hand with scissors and the template or with a vinyl cutting machine. Download the free Tinkerbell Silhouette Printable here. Using hot glue, secure your Tinkerbell silhouette to a pink paper straw.
Add a dot of hot glue to the base of the pink paper straw and insert it into the fairy house, sticking it to the very bottom of the bird cage.
Assemble three paper tissue flowers and cascade them along the side of the fairy house and hold in place with hot glue.
Spray paint a fairy figurine using gold paint. Hold your Tinkerbell figurine in place with a dot of hot glue.
