I recently had a few girlfriends over for a fiesta party in my backyard and these DIY tissue paper flower headbands were a big hit! I always love incorporating an easy activity or craft into a party, and guests can make these floral headbands in minutes with a few inexpensive supplies. Just set out the supplies before the party, serve up some drinks, and get to crafting!
To make fringe flowers, take 3 different colors of tissue paper circles and stack them on top of each other. Add a small dab of hot glue in the middle of each layer to adhere them all together. Run a pair of fringe scissors around the edges of the stacked pieces of tissue paper.
Take the fringed stack of tissue paper and pinch in the middle to form a flower. You can fluff up the fringe with your fingers.
Adhere the fringe flower to the headband with a dab of hot glue. In addition to the fringe flowers, you can try making other types of DIY tissue paper flowers such as the accordion fold flowers I made for this fiesta wreath.
