The key to a stellar party set-up is to take a traditional party element–in this case a party banner–and put a new twist on it. When thinking about the party decor, I came across these white toy race cars and I knew that they would be the perfect surprise element for my party banner decor. You can easily recreate this banner with my DIY tutorial below, but you can also use this tutorial as a jumping off point to create your own unexpected party decor! The possibilities are endless!
This banner only requires a few supplies that I have listed below. I used all one color for the banner, but you can change it up with varying colors too!
Cut the sticks off of the race car flag picks.
Take a strand of bakers twine and starting at one end, hot glue the string onto the top part of the backside of the race car as shown. Allow to cool.
Detach the paper flag from the wooden pick and glue race car flags onto the bakers twine with hot glue as shown.
Repeat until desired length is achieved.
