Dress up bars are one of my signature elements to most of my parties. Kids love to dress up to match the theme of the party. For my recent Trolls Party, I made these super cute DIY Trolls Beauty Trays full of cute accessories and beauty items.
Paint a DIY Wood Tray completely with turquoise paint from the Martha Stewart Crafts™ Satin Paint Set. Let fully dry. Paint another wood tray with the hot pink paint.
Cut a DreamWorks Trolls Beverage Napkin into quarters.
Using a Jumbo Chubby Brush or sponge applicator, spread a thin layer of Mod Podge® Acrylic Sealer – Gloss on the entire inside of the painted tray.
Starting at the opening of the tray handles, wrap a piece of Cotton Rickrack Trim around the outside of the tray and back to the other opening of the tray handle. Secure with a Mini Glue Dot®. Repeat for the other side of the tray.
Peel the backing off of a heart-shaped Jumbo Self-Adhesive Glitter Jewel and attach it to the front center of the tray.
These make great gifts and also are perfect party favors for my Trolls Party. They are the perfect size for kids to fill the tray with a few beauty accessories.
