Celebrate Luau Month with a fun and bright Tropical Balloon Garland! Balloon arches and garlands are trending in the party world so good for me that I’ve always loved parties with lots of balloons! Although these beautiful displays look elaborate, they are super easy to make and I’m excited to share a simple tutorial you can use to make your own.
Select several balloons (30-60 depending on the size of arch or garland you’d like to make) in your favorite colors to match your theme. Cut a length of jute cording long enough for your designated space.
Blow up your balloon and tie it to the twine.
Add more balloons and cluster them as you go. I like to add variation to my arches and garlands so I simply add less or more air to the balloons.
Continue along the length of your twine.
Add a few Large Palm Leaves as you go by twisting them along the twine.
Inflate the Luau Mylar Balloon Bouquet with the Large Helium Tank and attach to the end of the twine.
Hang up your garland! Be sure to check out all the details from our Luau Party including my recipe for Coconut Pineapple Milkshakes plus my tutorial for the DIY Tabletop Tiki Hut!
