It may not feel like a tropical oasis where you are, but this colorful wreath packed with hibiscus and plumeria flowers is sure to bring some tropical vibes to your front door! This DIY Tropical Flower Wreath is the perfect wreath to welcome summer, or you can use it to decorate for a pool or luau party. The wreath couldn’t be easier to make thanks to a few faux tropical flower garlands and a basic foam wreath form.

Wrap the foam wreath with the satin ribbon, pulling taut and overlapping slightly as you go. Secure the ends of the ribbon to the wreath with a dab of hot glue.

Add plumeria flowers by first detaching them from the garland by untwisting their wire, and then adhering to the wreath with a dab of hot glue. Hold in place for a few seconds until set. Scatter the flowers around the wreath, including some on the inside and outside edges.

You can also use the flowers and leaves from this garland to make an even fuller wreath. I used the flowers from the garland to cover the sides of the wreath and cut the leaves into smaller sizes to scatter around the wreath. Just add a dab of hot glue to the base of the leaves and nestle into the wreath between the flowers.
