Using thin washi tape, tape off your wooden bank block to create painted rainbow stripes for your unicorn body. I love using this Tropical Acrylic paint palette of colors, they are perfectly cheery and fresh.
Print out the Unicorn template and carefully cut out the head shape. Trace the head onto a piece of white foam. You can cut off the horn, as you will be making that part later. Download the Free Unicorn Template Printable here!
Taking five different colored giant chenille stems, twist very tightly at one end to create the top of the horn. As you twist, let it be a little looser and then cut the excess wire.
Next, take another five chenille stems and twist them at the center point. Now bend them in half and add a small yarn bow at the end to help secure your unicorn tail.
Hot glue on the unicorn head and tail next.
