These DIY Washi Tape pumpkins make cute little place setting decor pieces when placed on Thanksgiving Dessert Plates set atop Copper Chevron Scalloped Edge Dinner Plates, and they later served as favors at Thanksgiving Dinner Parties! We love that each guest can take one home and use it as decor in their own fall decorating! And of course, you could paint these ceramic pumpkins to fit the color palette of your party and then choose a different color of Washi tape to coordinate!
Take the Copper Washi Tape and measure out a piece that runs the height of the DIY Ceramic Pumpkin. Start at the base of the stem and run it to the under side of the pumpkin. (Note: if using a foam pumpkin, begin by spray painting the pumpkin with non-glossy spray paint. Once dry, proceed with Washi tape.)
Trim the Copper Washi Tape from the roll and adhere both ends to the pumpkin – one to the top of the pumpkin and the other on the under side of the pumpkin. We placed a piece of tape in each crevice of the pumpkin ridges.
Repeat this process until each crevice of your DIY Ceramic Pumpkin is lined in gorgeous Copper Washi Tape!
