Are you looking for a unique wedding guest book idea? If so, this DIY Shadow Box Guest Book will really show your creativity! Set up your guest book station at the front of your Wedding Ceremony. You can use a whiskey barrel as I did here, a piece of furniture, or a table with a linen; whichever option coordinates with your wedding best. I loved the whiskey barrel, because it perfectly fit the theme of my Rustic Wedding, and it is the perfect height for guests to sign in.
Purchase a shadow box at your local craft store. Look for one that fits your theme or color palette.
Remove the glass from your shadow box. Drill a hole or slot large enough for the hearts to easily fit inside. My husband drilled two holes two inches apart. He then used a jig saw to cut out the center, making a rectangle.
Clean the saw dust out and replace the glass.
Set up your sign-in station. Place the wood hearts in a galvanized bucket. Make sure to have a sharpie at the station for guest to write on the hearts. Lay personalized Paper Fans at the station for your guests to take with them to their seat. A small floral arrangement at the station adds an elegant touch.
