An engagement is the perfect occasion to get your girlfriends together and celebrate the newly engaged bride. And what’s a party without a bit of wine and champagne? We wanted a cute and fun way to showcase our selection of wines at our recent Confetti Engagement Dinner, so we created this DIY Wine Chiller Box! So, gather your supplies, and maybe a glass of wine, and let’s get started!
Begin by heading outside or a well ventilated area and add a few coats of pink paint to your Flower box Centerpiece. We went with a very light pink to match the colors of the confetti design party decor. Make sure to allow the paint to dry in between coats. While the paint on your Flower box Centerpiece is drying, take a few handfuls of the Round Metallic Confetti and use a hole punch to cut out smaller circles.
Now that the paint on the box has dried, grab your favorite quote from the DIY Calligraphy Stencils and place it on the front of the box. We thought “Cheers” was the perfect fit for our wine chiller box!
Use a pencil to trace the stencil quote onto the box. This line should be faint; just enough so your able to use as a guideline for adding your confetti.
Using a Paint Brush, add a thin layer of Mod Podge to the interior of the quote stencil and begin laying your small Round Metallic Confetti. You can create any pattern you’d like. No matter what, it will look gorgeous!
Continue laying the Confetti until your quote is completely filled in.
Add a few pieces of the larger Round Metallic Confetti around the quote for some added decor.
Next, cut a piece of the Gold Metallic Plastic Tablecloth and place it into the Flowerbox Centerpiece. This will serve as protective insulation for when you add your ice. Plus, that hint of gold is the perfect accent to any party!
Place five Wine Bottle Vases into your decorated Flower box and add some ice.
All that’s left to do is fill the Wine Bottle Vases with your favorite wines and bubbly and serve!
This DIY Wine Chiller Box looked gorgeous on our bar table and did a perfect job of keeping our wine chilled! We love that this DIY can be customized to any color palette or theme!
Our guests couldn’t get over how easy and chic this DIY was. It was such a hit, that we have no doubt we will be making this again for future parties!
