If you are looking for a fun mother-daughter project, you have come to the right place! Learn how to make this DIY Wood Jewelry Organizer using an unfinished wood rectangle plaque and wood spheres. We added some pops of color using a light blue and light green paint, but you can use a combination of your favorite colors. We love how the colors pop against the unfinished wood. Adhere cording to the back so you can hang the jewelry organizer on the wall. Hang necklaces and bracelets from the wood spheres. Adorable!
Tape off an angle across the front of wood plaque with washi tape to mark the area you are painting.
Paint the taped area with acrylic craft paint. Allow to dry.
While the paint is drying, glue three wood spheres onto bottom portion of front of the wood plaque using wood glue.
You can tape the wood spheres on the plaque to secure while drying.
Once the top paint color is dry, tape off a new, smaller section to paint with washi tape.
Once paint is dry, peel the tape off carefully.
Glue faux leather cording onto the back side of the plaque.
