What's black and white and stylish all over? This oh-so-rustic-chic DIY Wood Slice Recipe Backdrop of course! For our Modern Rustic Wedding S’mores Bar, we lined the wall with 12x12 pieces of cardstock in a fun buffalo plaid pattern and hung the wood slices in the middle. Not only does this help guide guests in creating the s’mores treat of their dreams, but it looks great too!
Paint the middles of the Small, Medium and Large Round Wood Centerpieces with black acrylic paint and allow time for the paint to dry.
To transfer the Free Hand Lettered Recipe Printable Templates to the wood slices, loosely cut out the recipes and apply a layer of White Chalk to the back of the paper. Tape the template to the painted piece of wood and trace the words using a ballpoint pen. Remove the template to reveal the transferred recipe and use a Paint Marker to fill in the words. You can also use a White Chalk Marker for a less permanent option.
