Do you ever come across an item that you want to turn into art? Something that has a dual purpose is something worth keeping in our opinion! Well, we did just that with these Wood Pattern Wedding Chargers. We had used them for a party and knew we had to turn them into something more! We turned some photos we took on our phones, resized them and adhered them to the wood pattern chargers. These are just larger display plates (13 inches) made from plastic with a wood grain look. We turned our photos into black and white images for a more modern and clean look. You could display the chargers in plate stands or hang on the wall to create a one-of-a-kind gallery wall.
Resize photos to fit the page so you can cut out a 7-inch circle, resize using Photoshop or a photo editing software. Print images and cut.
Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge® to the back of the printed picture. Smooth onto the plate carefully to remove any air bubbles. Allow to completely dry!
Apply a thin layer of Mod Podge® to the top of printed photo. Let dry completely.
Cut 6 inches of leather cording. Glue the cording onto the back of the plate.
Hang and display your artwork!
