We just love incorporating a themed centerpiece for our party tables and this DIY Jungle Centerpiece was the perfect addition to our Disney ZooTopia kids table! With just a few of Oriental Trading's cute products, we were able to create a jungle inspired centerpiece that made this table go wild!
Take your DIY Alphabet banner and choose the letters you need to spell your centerpiece word. We chose the word ZooTopia for our Disney ZooTopia inspired party. We will start with the letter Z for this DIY. Cut away the rectangular borders from the bottom of the letter.
Cut the leaf sets from the Leaf Headwreath and Wristlet Set or the Leis and then cut into individual leaves.
Arrange the varying shades of green leaves and hot glue onto each DIY alphabet banner letter. Repeat until all the letters are covered in leaves.
Next, using your hot glue gun, attach each letter to a wooden skewer.
Fill each mini orange pail about 3/4 full with green chocolate covered candies. They will serve as a sturdy base filler to hold your letters up!
Add a bit of green paper shred on top of the green chocolate covered candies for a bit of a jungle grass affect and then place each DIY skewered banner letter into a corresponding pail!
We love this fun and bold DIY idea especially because it can be customized for any word or party theme!
