Party food at a donut themed shower has got to be sweet, bright, and covered in sprinkles! This Donut Snack Mix was the perfect addition at my Donut Sprinkle baby shower. Check out my full party post featuring my Donut Sprinkle for a mama having her second, third, fourth (etc!) baby. This donut snack mix comes together quickly and is served in DIY sprinkle popcorn boxes.
- Popcorn (1 microwave bag popped or 1 bag store-bought popcorn)
- 1 c. Milk Chocolate Chips
- 1 c. White Chocolate chips
- Sprinkles
- Mini Pretzels
- "O" Shaped Cereal
- Donut Holes (for garnish)
Place the chocolate chips and the white chocolate chips in two separate microwaveable bowls. Start with one bowl and heat it on medium-high for 1 minute. Remove from the microwave and stir. Repeat heating at about 15 to 20 second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is melted and has a smooth consistency. (Do not overheat or chocolate will become too tough to work with.) Repeat with the second bowl.
Using a spoon, drizzle the chocolate and white chocolate over the popcorn and add sprinkles while the chocolate is still warm.
Once drizzled popcorn has dried and hardened, mix it with "O"-shaped cereal (I used two different kids) and mini pretzels.
Garnish with a sprinkled donut hole on a lollipop stick or these Donut Lollipops!
