It's just not Thanksgiving without a turkey, and this Gilded Harvest White Ceramic Turkey had no problem being the star of our Thanksgiving table! We perched him atop a gold riser from the Gold Buffet Riser Set to give the tablescape some visual dimension.
To decorate the table, we used ivory fabric down the center to soften the space and serve as a table runner. Ivory Gossamer would also work well for this.
White Ceramic Bottle Vases were filled with pampas grass and displayed on both sides of the ceramic turkey. We created a modern bead garland to hang around the neck of each vase by stringing Wood Beads onto Natural Cording, then adding Natural Cording tassels to the ends.
We pressed greenery sprigs into White Air-Hardening Modeling Clay, then cut the clay into circles (using cookie cutters) to create ornaments. We strung the ornaments onto Gold Elastic Cording, then added a Wooden Bead to coordinate with our bead garlands. We displayed the natural ornaments on Hexagon Table Frames that we removed the photo clip from, then coated with charcoal gray spray paint.
Small white pumpkins, Natural Pinecones, sprigs of wheat and Faux Marble Tea Light Candle Holders filled with White Tea Light Candles completed our Thanksgiving table runner display and added warmth to the table.
I don't know about your family, but at our house we have so much food at our Thanksgiving feast that two plates are a must! Also, I am soooo in favor of using paper plates to make cleanup easier after we're done eating!
I was excited to dress our table with these absolutely gorgeous plates by My Mind's Eye. Cream Scalloped Dinner Plates served as the base for each setting. Each dinner plate was then topped with a Gather Together Paper Dessert Plate. Confetti Design Beverage Napkins were unfolded and layered between the plates to break up all of the cream.
Once again, to keep cleanup easy, we used disposable flatware on our table. This Premium Ornate Plastic Cutlery has such pretty detailing and complemented the gold in our plates perfectly. A Wavy Stemless Plastic Wine Glass atop a marble coaster finished off each place setting beautifully.
In addition to our Thanksgiving table, we also set up a little "Refresh Station" in our dining area. It's a great place for guests to refill their wine glasses or take a yummy chocolate to enjoy while they're waiting for dinner.
Along with the wine and chocolates, we echoed much of the dining table decor in our Refresh Station decor. We created a fuller version of the pampas grass arrangement to add some height to the table.
We also included another clay ornament display at this station, and used a Blush Gauze Table Runner to tie into the blush tones of the Confetti Design Beverage Napkins that were used on the dining table.
Pumpkins, wheat and mums finished off our Thanksgiving decor and added a taste of the season to our celebration.
