Easter Brunch Egg Nests

These little brunch nests are made out of simple frozen puff pastry shells then hollowed out in the middle. A slice of gouda or swiss and ham are nestled inside then topped off with an egg. It's then baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients:
Makes 6-8 Nests
  • Frozen Puff Pastry Shells
  • Thinly Sliced Ham
  • Thin Slices of Gouda or Swiss Cheese
  • Small Eggs
  • Salt and Pepper

Preheat oven to 425 degrees and place 8 frozen puff pastry shells onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes.

Take baking sheet out of the oven and remove the center of each shell. Place a small slice of cheese and ham in each nest. Top each slice of ham with a cracked egg.

Place back in the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes or until desired cook on the eggs. Serve hot.
