Take your Easter decor game up, up, and away this year! Everyone loves a basket full of treats, a fun hunt in the backyard, or even a big choco bunny, but what if your Easter guests discovered treats inside an Easter Egg Hot Air Balloon? Make these with or for your kids to sit on the mantle, down the center of your brunch table, or to brighten up a shelf in your kid's room. Fill the mini terracotta pot bases with a green yarn pom-pom or a perhaps a foil wrapped chocolate egg. Get ready to watch your kids' excitement soar with this unique Easter basket idea!
Hot-glue four beads that match the color of your Gigantic Plaster Easter Egg around the opening of the bottom half of the egg. Make sure to glue them below the closure of the egg, evenly spaced.
Hot glue skewers trimmed to 6-inches long into the beads. Make sure that the skewers are pointing down towards the bottom of the egg.
Gather the ends of the sticks and fit them in the mini terracotta pot. You can add glue or strong masking tape to keep them in place, but they should stay put pretty easily.
After filling with treats, replace the top of the plastic egg onto the base.
Wrap a 1 to 2-inch piece of washi tape around a string and fold over. Cut the bottom to look like a pennant flag. Repeat 11 more times and space them out about 1/2-inches to complete your garland to fit around the egg.
Tie the ends of the garland together and drape on top of the beads.
