Celebrate Easter with a new family tradition! Your kids will have so much fun creating their own Easter Prayer Basket. Each night during family prayer time they'll enjoy opening up an egg to discover a prayer slip along with a couple of treats! Print and cut out the Easter Prayer Basket tag and six prayer slips (you can download the free printable HERE.) Each child in your family will need a set. Use a hole punch to cut out the circle on the tag.
Put one prayer slip and a couple of jelly beans into a Mini Plastic Easter Egg. There are six different colors of eggs and six prayer slips, so you can put one slip into each color egg.
Use the Easter Basket Craft Kit to have each child make their own prayer basket. The baskets and stickers are all included in this kit, which makes it a breeze to use with minimal mess! Instead of using the "To:/From:" tag that is in the kit, tie the "My Prayer Basket" tag onto the handle of the basket with the ribbon included in the kit.
Add some Green Easter Grass into each basket. Then, put the six filled eggs on top of the grass.
Keep the baskets in a central location to use around Easter time. During family prayer time, have each child in your family take turns picking out an egg. They can pray for the topic on their slip and enjoy the little treat inside too!
