Use oval paper plates to create these beautiful decorated Easter egg works of art. Kids will have a blast working with washi tape, paint, stampers and more! One of my favorite supplies is the dip and dotters. They are perfect for this Easter craft and help the kids create unique designs. Add a little sparkle or bling to make those eggs shimmer and shine! Ella and Annie enjoyed using the Easter stamps to add one of kind patterns. You can use the mini markers to color in the stamp designs!
Place paint in paint trays or on a paper plate. Pick out the shapes you want to use with the daubers. Decide on a pattern for each paper plate Easter egg you want to make. Flip the paper plates over and use the non-glossy side. Apply the washi tape first. Fold over any excess tape. Then use the Easter stampers. Have kids decide if they want to use the mini markers to color in the stamped design. The flower and Easter egg stampers work perfect for this.
Lastly, use the daubers to paint and fill in the blank spaces. I had the kids pick out different shapes and sizes. We then chose the pastel paint. Use the dip and dotters to fill in any blank spaces.
Kids had an awesome time decorating their paper plate Easter eggs! Ella just loves the aprons she gets to wear. We use these aprons while doing all our crafts. They are super easy to wash too!
