Our Easter Planter Box Centerpiece is a definite show stopper. Follow these simple steps to create your own beautiful planter box. In just a few steps you’ll be able to make this easy centerpiece your guests are sure to love and admire.
Stain your DIY Flower Box Centerpiece. I chose a light gray stain because I still wanted to be able to see the wood grain. Apply stain and allow box to dry.
Once the stain is dry, dry brushwhite or light gray paint. To dry brush, put a very small amount of paint onto a stiff paintbrush. Wipe off the majority of the paint onto a rag or paper towel. With very light pressure, make long strokes. You will start to see all the character of the wood coming out. Continue to dry brush until you are happy with the results. Allow to dry.
After you are done staining and painting your planter box, place a DIY Unfinished Wood Planter box upside down in the center of the DIY Flower Box Centerpiece. Next, fill each side of the box with floral foam so the DIY Flower Box will stay in place.
Add three of the Gold Mercury Mason Jars to the top of the upside down DIY Unfinished Wood Planter box. Fill the box with faux grass.
Add a small amount of water and fresh flowers to Gold Mercury Mason Jars.
Scatter Gold Leaf Easter Eggs on both sides of the Gold Mercury Mason Jars.
