Inflate your balloons. Tie your twine the length you want the balloon garland to be. I made it shorter here so I could show you an example. When I tied mine I went from a door handle to a heavy seating chair. You can also use tape instead of tying. It’s important that you elevate it off the ground. This will make it easier to get the balloons on.

Cut a 3 inch piece of twine for each balloon. Tie the twine around the base of the knot on the balloon. You only need to tie it once. It will stay on.

Start to tie the balloons onto the long piece of twine, tying each one with a double knot. Then slide them up to the one in front each time you add a new one.

Alternate balloon colors and sizes. There’s no need to follow an exact pattern, and remember to mix in plenty of the smaller balloons. As you add more balloons, you will just slide them tightly together. You can move them around to different sides once you hang the garland.

To make the confetti balloons, just put two pinches of confetti in a clear balloon and inflate.
