This DIY Hot Cocoa Ornament is such a cute and simple favor idea! With just a few supplies (some of which you probably already have in your pantry) and just a few minutes of time, you’ll create your own yummy, chocolatey favor ornament!
Cut the parchment paper into a 6×6″ section and roll into a funnel shape. You can cut the tip of the funnel as well for a faster chocolate flow! Remove the top of the ornament and place the funnel into the opening.
Note: The DIY ornament is not tested as food safe. This project is for decorative purposes only.
Pour the hot chocolate mix into the DIY Clear Round Christmas Ornament through the funnel. Pour just a bit at a time and allow to move through the funnel to prevent a hot chocolate back up! Don’t worry if you spill a bit of hot chocolate onto the ornament. A dry cloth or paper towel will wipe it off in no time!
Add a layer of Red Chocolate Candies into the DIY Clear Round Christmas Ornament. We added enough to give us about a 1-1 1/2″ layer.
Top the delicious decoration off with a small handful of miniature marshmallows. And then sneak a few for yourself. Yum!
Replace the top of the Ornament.
