- 1 -2 Serrano Chiles
- 1 1/4 c. Diced Tomatoes
- 1/4 c. Lime Juice
- 1/4 c. Water
- 2 tbs. Caldo de Sabor de Pollo (Granulated Bouillon Chicken)
- 1 tsp. Black Pepper
- 1 -2 Garlic Cloves (optional)
- 4 -6 Green Onions
- 1/2 Bunch of Cilantro
Place the cilantro, Serrano Chiles, garlic, green onions, spices, lime juice and water in a blender. For a milder salsa, remove the veins and seeds of the chile and use just 1.
Blend into a puree.
For a chunky salsa, simply add the tomatoes to the puree and stir.
If you prefer a more blended salsa; add the tomatoes to the puree mixture in the blender and blend for 5 seconds. Chill in an air tight container and serve with your favorite tortilla chips. Enjoy!
