If your kids are anything like mine, they need to be kept busy to stay out of trouble. One thing my girls always ask to do is a craft. I came up with this one the other day and they all had a great time making these adorable tissue paper flowers. My youngest is 5 and she needed the most help but was still able to do most of it on her own.
Take a piece of tissue paper and place it in the center of the large marker or pencil eraser.
Push each finger down around the tissue paper and the marker. You want to make the paper puckers a little as you push it down the marker.
Next your’ll twist your tissue paper flat so it lays down like shown in the picture.
Dip the tissue paper covered marker into the glue. You don’t need a lot but enough to cover it. Then place the tissue paper on the center of the dessert plate.
Repeat placing the tissue paper dipped in glue, onto your plate. I try to get them pretty close together but you won’t see much of the white plate after it’s all finished.
Start to add in different colors and make a pattern for your flower.
You’re all done once your plate is covered. I love what my girls decided to do. My oldest came up with the purple and white with yellow center. I sure love it.
