Fill the bottom of the clear jar with a handful of caramel candy.
Place two packages of M&M candies on top of the caramel.
Screw the lid on the jar. Fill the bottom of the cellophane bag with red paper shred and place the jar on top of it.
Place a small to medium-sized apple on top of the jars' lid.
Use the jute twine to close and secure the cellophane bag.
