If you’d like to bring Christ back into Easter, this Easter Family Service Project is the perfect family activity. It’s a fun and easy way for kids to celebrate this special holiday. I love finding ways to bring the meaning of Easter back into Easter. Kids can so easily get caught up in what the Easter Bunny brings. If you’d like to get away from this here is what I’ve found works for our family. We find ways to love and serve as Jesus did when He was on earth. One of our favorite ways to do this has been with a week of service during Holy Week. The ideas are simple and easy, but will have a lasting effect on your whole family and those you serve. I’d love to show you how we put together our Easter Service Project Baskets. Be sure to download the Free Service Project Printable here!

Using scissors or a paper cutter, cut out the service ideas into strips. Fit the strips inside a plastic Easter egg along with some jelly beans or Easter candy.
Take the Easter Baskets and place some Multicolor Easter Grass inside. Doesn’t that looks so pretty?
Place the plastic easter eggs inside the Easter Baskets.
Each person in the family will open 1 egg each week and perform that service. Some of the acts of service may require more than one family member or the whole family. Make this a fun activity where you can serve together!
Before our family night would end we would also schedule times for us to do other Christ Centered Easter activities. To see those ideas, make sure you check out my other posts including Jelly Bean Prayer Jars, Resurrection Rolls, and a Paper Plate Tomb Craft. These activities, along with the Family Easter Service Project, will help you and your children focus on Christ and what He did for each of us. I hope you have a wonderful Easter season!
