I can't just have one solid bulletin board border. For this farm themed bulletin board I used four stacked bulletin board borders! I stacked them on the floor then hot glued them together before attaching to the bulletin board itself. I used Loop-de-Loop Bulletin Board Borders, both sides of the Western Double-Sided Bulletin Board Borders, and Black Scalloped Bulletin Board Borders. It really made the border stand out against the Fadeless® Brite Blue Art Paper Roll.
I went with classic county fair inspired colors with this bulletin board. When I think of our local county fair, my mind automatically goes to red, blue, and a bandana print. These fans really added a 3D effect to my bulletin board. I opened all the fans I had on hand on the floor, then decided which cluster I liked best. I had Red Hanging Paper Fan Assortment and Cobalt Blue Hanging Paper Fan Assortment on hand which matched our theme perfectly!
I loved how my bulletin board looked like a bunch of animals in a pasture. It was missing one element though! Grass! I used the fence posts from The Lord is My Shepherd Bulletin Board Set on each end of the board then added Carson-Dellosa® Grass Scalloped Bulletin Board Borders in the middle to add just a small green element!
Customize your board with whatever saying you'd like! I chose to make ours say "Move Over 2nd Grade"! I used Black Dot-to-Dot Lowercase Letters to spell out my fun saying. All I had to do was punch them out and they were ready to go!
