My favorite kind of party food is the type that doesn’t need a utensil to consume. The faster I can get snacks in my mouth while holding a drink the better. Strawberry Shortcake Kabobs is my take on making a dessert that typically requires a fork in order to be eaten a lot easier. You just slice and skewer. Juicy summer berries and store bought madeleines are the perfect combination for a warm weather celebration.
Remove the leafy top of the strawberry. Cut the strawberry in half.
Cut the madeleines into thirds.
Thread the madeleines and the strawberries onto the skewer. Each kabob gets one madeleine and one strawberry.
Heat the chocolate in the microwave in the small glass bowl for increments of :30 at power level 5. Stir after each : 30.
Line up the kabobs on the parchment paper. Drizzle on the melted white chocolate.
