Looking for a chic and modern centerpiece idea? I created a simple and gorgeous centerpiece planter by simply covering it with marble contact paper that you can find online or in various stores. This project is incredibly simple but looks like a million bucks! The sleek look is perfect for a luxurious wedding centerpiece but also doubles as stylish home decor after the big day! The marble aesthetic pairs beautifully with fresh lavender or your favorite floral.
Paint the interior of your planter white. You may want to paint the entire box white for a clean and consistent look.
Roll out the marble contact paper face down. Lay the wooden planter along the paper’s printed grid lines. Using a pencil, trace the planter onto the back of the contact paper. Repeat for all four sides.
Use scissors or an Xacto knife and ruler to cut out the four pieces of contact paper for the sides of the planter.
Carefully apply the contact paper pieces onto the wooden planter, pressing firmly.
Now you can place the flowers you have chosen into the wooden planter centerpiece! Place them directly in or, to get the look I’ve created, you can place your flowers inside of spaced out mason jars within your planter. So chic and elegant!
I love how this centerpiece looks placed in the middle of the silver metallic crepe fabric that I used as a table runner. It’s got a bit of glamour with an edge!
