- 1 1/2 c. All-purpose Flour
- 1 t. Baking Powder
- 1/2 c. Milk, at room temperature
- 1 t. Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 c. Butter, at room temperature
- 1 c. Sugar
- 2 Large Eggs, at room temperature
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Line a cupcake tin with 12 cupcake liners and set aside.
In a bowl, mix together the milk and vanilla, set aside.
In another bowl, whip the butter until light and fluffy. Slowly add the sugar and continue to beat. Once the sugar is mixed, slowly add the eggs until just blended. With your mixer on low, add the baking powder. Alternate between adding the flour and milk mixture until all is added and incorporated.
Divide the batter evenly into your cupcake liners. Bake the cupcakes until they are just barely done (22 to 25 minutes). Take the cupcakes out of the pan and let cool before frosting.
