A Felt Egg Treat Pouch is the perfect gift for friends this Easter. They’ll love a yummy Easter treat dressed up in this cute felt Easter egg pouch.

I made these Felt Egg Treat Pouches a few years ago for a toddler play group. It was so much fun to see their little faces light up when they got the treat in this soft felt packaging. These are so easy and work up quickly. The best part is that these are homemade and super cute. Be sure to download the Free Easter Egg Printable here!

Fold a piece of felt in half, length-wise. Place the egg template on one side of the folded felt. Trace the egg shape onto the felt.

Cut out the egg shape on the felt, holding the folded felt together so you have 2 egg pieces once you are done cutting.

Take one of the egg shapes and draw zigzag, or egg crack lines on it going from the middle horizontally.

Cut along the zigzag lines until you have half of an egg. Place on top of the other full egg shape and match up edges.

Thread your needle with baker’s twine. Begin stitching your egg by going down through the felt. Make sure you don’t have a knot at the end. Don’t pull the thread all the way through. Leave enough length that you can tie the ends in a bow after you have finished stitching.

Completely stitch around the bottom of your egg shape and make sure that your twine comes out on top so you can tie the end in a bow with the other side.

Your Felt Egg Treat Pouch is ready, but now for the Easter treats for the inside. I used Easter GrassCellophane Bags and Easter candy to fill the treat bags.
