A party just isn’t a party without balloons! These colorful maraca-inspired balloons will be the star of your Cinco de Mayo or fiesta party! All you need are some colorful Sharpies®, inexpensive party streamers, and a vase to display them in. Since they are inflated with air and attached to balloon sticks, these balloons will stay looking good long past the fiesta!
Inflate the balloon with air and draw designs on it with different colors of Sharpie® markers. I doodled on these balloons to look like maracas, so they would complement the mini maraca party favors I created for the fiesta party. You can’t go wrong with your designs – have fun with it!
Attach the balloon to a balloon stick and finish with some party streamer fringe by running a pair of fringe scissors along the sides of a length of party streamer. Then attach the streamer to the base of the balloon with a small dab of hot glue (don’t worry the balloon won’t pop!).
