It's not a Flamingle unless you've got flamingos! Spookify these fabulous pink birds for your Halloween Flamingle with just a few supplies. You don't need to be an artist to paint these creepy creatures, just a few brush strokes and you're all set! Check out how easy it is to create a flock of flamingo skeletons for your spooky soiree!
Place flamingos inside a cardboard box outside. It's necessary for them to be put in a box but it helps contain the spray paint from blowing everywhere.
Spray the flamingos using Hammered Finished Paint in Black. Coat the front of the birds and allow to dry. Once side of the birds are dry, flip over and finish spraying the rest of the birds with paint. Make sure the birds are completely covered in black paint and allow them to dry.
Once the birds have dried, dip your paint brush into white acrylic paint and add four dashes around the eyes.
Paint the beaks of the birds using acrylic white paint.
Paint 10 dashes of white paint down the neck of the bird starting at the head. Keep adding white dashes of paint until you reach the body of the bird.
Next, add dashes of paint across the body. I made four lines with five dashes across the first two lines, four dashes on the next and three dashes on the last line.
Paint the entire tail of the bird and allow it to dry.
Your fabulous flock is now ready to party! Set these creepy cuties up at the dessert table or place them out on your lawn as a ghostly greeting for your guests!
