Nothing could be dreamier for a Spring Bridal Shower than pretty parasols suspended from the ceiling. Nothing, that is, except pretty parasols "raining" pretty pink flowers! In just a few steps you can create a stunning scene to impress the bride that is sure to take your guests' breath away.
To begin, determine the length of thin pink ribbon from the light pink ribbon assortment you would like to hang from the end of a gold parasol and then cut multiple strands. Working around the top end of the gold parasol, hot glue strands of pink ribbon, leaving a small space in between each strand.
Next, remove several blooms from the light pink flower garland and secure them to the gold parasol around the top to cover the ends of the light pink ribbon using hot glue.
Set the gold parasol aside and then fully open a white parasol. Begin attaching a light pink flower garland around the edge of the parasol by adding a dab of hot glue to the wooden ends and holding the garland in place for a few seconds. Secure the garland to every third wooden end to allow the garland to hang in a scalloped drape manner around the parasol.
To suspend the parasols from the ceiling, tie a length of thin gauge fishing line to them. Knot a single strand around the handle at the very end to hang the gold parasol. In order to hang the white parasol as level as possible, you'll need to tie two long strands of fishing line around the very top of the parasol, each of them equidistant from each other, and then tie them together around your hook.
Finally, suspend your finished parasols over your dining table using clear adhesive hooks attached to the ceiling.
